I discovered the main trendy colors of spring summer 2022.
The color trends Spring Summer 2022 are an unusual bunch. This is the first season in which the collections were designed in isolation, and the response was a mix of escapism, comfort and a return to nature, although there were also some utilitarian hues.
Compared to the color trends of the previous fall / winter season, the colors of spring summer are a real treat, an exciting feast of colors in different shades and tints.
Earthy red
Let’s start on a dramatic note, with this deep, seductive red. According to the Pantone Color Institute, this color “bursts with flowing energy.” It’s dramatic and fiery, but with a deeper cast that adds sophistication.
Cherry red
Cherry red is more passionate and less sober. A color to wear both in daytime outfits with a strong tone and in seductive evening dresses.
For a romantic spring outfit, red was paired with pale pink. You can also use it in vibrant prints and color blocks.
Rust or earthy orange
On a more earthy note, we now turn to rust. Rust is an earthy orange with a slightly autumnal touch. For us, it represents comfort and elegance at the same time.

Orange Ocher is more of a true orange compared to rust brown in color. It’s not too bright or loud, though, and it still has a grounded feel to it.

It is a friendly and cheerful yellow that is stimulating to the eye rather than stressful.
It is a bright and cheerful yellow, a warm hue imbued with the power of the sun, capable of instilling grit and courage.
Perfect when worn with black, light blue, denim or butter white, it can also be paired with pink for looks that won’t go unnoticed.
Burnt coral
Pantone described Burnt Coral as extremely pretty and reminiscent of nature as “nice” and “cozy.” We felt this shade was a slightly softer, more relaxed take on Living Coral, which was 2019’s color of the year.
Pink pirouette
This delicate, almost translucent shade of pink called “pirouette” adds a touch of cuteness to any color palette.
It’s a beautiful color to match the prints and pastel hues of spring 2021, but also to use as a complete shade for delicate outfits.

The mint shade is lively and bright, it radiates energy, but is also very feminine and romantic when used for long evening and formal dresses.
