Sofia of Sweden is a mother for the third time
Summer is the season of love and… of reunions. And that’s how it was also for the Royals of Sweden, who all came together to spend beautiful and relaxing holidays in the company of the whole family.
The residence onIsland of Öland it opened for all Royals, including the second child Madeleine who lives in Florida and that she has returned precisely to be with the dearest ones. And this irrepressible joy could only be immortalized with a shot, with which they wished a happy summer to all subjects and to the entire social world.
The family picture was taken by Jonas Ekströmer, with the king Carl Gustav and his wife Silvia in the center. All the children and grandchildren are present. The charming Carl Philip and Sofia are immortalized with their three children: Alexander, Gabriel and Julian, the newest member of the family. The couple celebrated the arrival of the third child in March 2021 and, therefore, for him it is the first real group photo together with the sovereigns, uncles and cousins.
And, after a long time, there is also Madeleine, residing in Florida with her husband Christopher O’Neill and the children Leonore, Nicholas and Adrienne. Her return was long overdue, prolonged by the health emergency that did not allow her to travel immediately. The Royal reunion was also celebrated by her, through a beautiful shot posted on Instagram that portrays her first child.
A portrait that smells of holidays, that of the Swedish royals, who can now return to their lives, even if first they wanted to reunite the family for the usual photo.
Carl Gustav he has also already thought about the future of his heirs, deciding for a drastic downsizing of the monarchy which imposes the titles of “Royal Highnesses” only on Estelle and Oscar. All the others are Princes and Princesses and not obliged to make institutional commitments, so that they can live their life free from any conditioning. For the moment, their only task is to play with cousins, with whom they form a rather close-knit group.
