Harry and Meghan Markle, the film: first photos and harsh criticism of Fuga da Palazzo on social networks
Time heals all wounds. It is said. But you know, the sayings are often not very close to reality and Meghan Markle is proof of that. Months have passed since his separation from the Royal family of England, but the situation is more compromised than ever, despite the birth of Lilibet and the (temporary) return of Harry to London for the celebrations linked to the 60th birthday of his mother Diana.
Meghan Markle’s 40 years have been celebrated far from Windsor, even if the “institutional” greetings of the Queen and Kate arrived, who still does not seem to have digested the statements made by her sister-in-law to Oprah Winfrey in the scandal interview that led to the first big break with the Crown.
And, in all this teeming with the returning past, Meghan Markle decides to launch a new initiative for women, ignoring the messages of Kate Middleton and the Queen and thus marking a point of no return. Reconciliation seems even further away.
For the Harry’s wife, it is also the first public appearance since the birth of Lilibet Diana, which the Royal family has not yet known. Unlikely, by now, the baptism in Windsor in the presence of Elizabeth, who would have faded despite some initial rumors taking for granted Meghan’s return to London.
Not hinting at the disagreements of the past, Meghan has openly stated that she is on the pitch for the support of women with the 40 × 40 project. The names chosen for the initiative are 40, who are asked to spend 40 minutes of their time to support women who want to return to work.
In the video with Melissa McCarthy it also appears involuntarily Harry, immersed in a moment of everyday life, in addition to their little dog Guy who dozes happily on the feet of his mistress.
Yet, the shadow of the sufferings declared by Meghan in the period from “Royal” seem to feed the words of the Duchess, as shown by the last sentences published on the association’s website Archewell:
“Reflecting on my 40th birthday and the many things I am grateful for, I realized that time is one of our most important gifts: time with our loved ones, the time spent doing the things we love, the time spent learning, laughing, growing. And goes on.
“I believe that support is a way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength. For my birthday, I asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to help kickstart a global effort by contributing with 40 minutes of mentorship to support women returning to the world of work. With this time, I hope that each of them will help someone to progress in their professional life and, I hope that they inspire countless others to do the same ”.
The Royal family is completely excluded from this homage to the time Meghan has not seen since the beginning of 2020. The hopes for a possible rapprochement are therefore reduced to a flicker.
