Harry and Meghan Markle, the film: first photos and harsh criticism of Fuga da Palazzo on social networks
These first six months of the year were certainly not uneventful for the Dukes of Sussex. After the scandal interview with Oprah Winfrey, which undermined even more the relationship between Harry and his family, the death of Prince Philip and the further negative words spent towards the English Crown, Meghan gave birth to their second child, Lilibet Diana.
The little girl, born last June 4, has not yet been included in the line of succession on the official Buckingham Palace website, but this could happen on the occasion of her baptism. An event that, to everyone’s surprise, it will most likely take place in London, in front of Queen Elizabeth.
The Dukes of Sussex, according to royal expert Richard Eden, have in fact expressed the desire to want a ceremony in Windsor, just as they did two years ago with Archie. The intentions would have been announced by Harry himself during his last visit to London, which took place a few weeks ago on the occasion of the inauguration of the statue of Princess Diana. Of course, the two royals will be able to turn the wish into reality only if circumstances permit, even if there is already the scent of a date in the air: September. According to the Sun, in fact, the whole family would like to return to London also to pay homage to Lady D, on the occasion of an event in memory of Harry’s deceased mother. In this way, the couple would take the opportunity to baptize Lilibet as well.
If this were to actually happen, it would certainly be a turning point in relations within the Royal Family. For Meghan it would in fact be the first return to the United Kingdom since she and Harry left their official roles: the last time was on March 9, 2020, on the occasion of the Commonwealth Day Service held at Westminster Abbey. Since that moment, both for Covid-19 and for pregnancy, the Duchess of Sussex has never returned to Her Majesty’s homeland.
Meantime, Harry and Meghan are taking a rest from work, as you can read from the official website of the organization founded by them. The text states that, although the two spouses are on parental leave, Archewell continues his important work, carrying out the various projects.
