Meghan Markle and the Prince Harry they will give birth to their baby girl. The pregnancy was announced last Valentine’s Day with an affectionate and romantic photo, and the wait is now becoming more and more insistent. As tradition has it, the usual toto-name is not lacking: curiosity about what will the next Royal baby be called it is in fact skyrocketing.
Over the years, the couple had openly shown interest in several female names and it is conceivable that they will draw from that list. Let’s see’.
The two royals, while waiting for Archie, had visited the town of Birkenhead to hear suggestions from a group of schoolchildren about the palpable name for their firstborn. A little girl named Megan Dudley asked the Duchess of Sussex if she would give the name Amy if she had a baby girl, and she replied: “It’s a really nice name, I like it. We will have to think about it ”. During the same period, Harry had also shown interest in the name Lily.
During the royal couple’s royal tour in October 2018, however, the couple traveled to Melbourne for a short drive to South Melbourne Beach, along with some students. Also on this occasion it had emerged a name that could enter the shortlist. Harry and Meghan met a fan with a little girl named Harriet (who is also the female version of the prince’s name) and later, the royal told the British newspaper Sunday Express that it’s a beautiful name.
The list of palpable names certainly does not end there. Following Prince Philip’s death last April, British gambling site Ladbrokes saw the name Philippa grow as highly likely for Meghan and Harry’s daughter. If they were to pay homage to the Duke of Edinburgh, they would certainly not be the only ones. Harry’s cousins Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall both paid tribute to their grandfather shortly before his death, giving their newborn children the middle name Philip.
Further predictions always rotate around members of the royal family. First of all the names Diana and Elizabeth, which would thus pay homage to Harry’s mother and grandmother. However, the two royals may surprise: with Archie a name was chosen that was not expected at all.
All that remains is to wait and see on which name the choice will fall. There is now little time left!
