Harry and Meghan they strongly wanted to give a title to Archie. The truth has finally come to light, as they say: perhaps too much has been said about the English Royal Family in recent times. Still, that title snatched from Archie, Prince Harry and his wife hasn’t really gone down. In the updated version of Finding Freedom, their unauthorized biography, a very important aspect is cited, which clarifies any doubts about it.
If we go back in time, we find that the first version of the story is very far from reality. Initially, in fact, the Palace assistants had issued a note in which it was read that Harry and Meghan did not want any title for their first child. Nothing further from reality, however, from the moment in which i Dukes of Sussexinstead, they really aspired to the title, because it would provide a considerable level of safety and protection.
By the way, during the famous interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan was quite direct towards the Royal Family, almost going so far as to infer that the problem could be the color of her son’s skin. An expert, however, points out that Archie could have had a title, if only Harry and Meghan had pressed on the question: it would have been the Earl of Dumbarton. A diatribe resolved only later: “Dumb”, from English, is translated as “stupid”. They simply didn’t want it because they feared problems.
It must also be said that, in the event that Charles is to succeed the throne of England, there will be a clear cut reduction of the budget dispensed for the Royal Family. Charles’s dream is that of any sovereign: to curry favor with the people by choosing to cut expenses and opting for a leaner monarchy.
Harry, however, was incredibly hurt and bothered by his father’s choice. Of course, as a prince, perhaps he dreamed – naively and without interest? – that the child could be recognized as such. However, his dream was shattered: Carlo will never give Archie a title. On this point he was quite categorical according to the real experts.
Omid Scobie – who is co-author of the book Finding Freedom along with Carolyn Durand – he often reiterated that, after what Carlo said, Harry and Meghan were furious. The truth, even if conflicting, is slowly coming out: in any case, it is hoped that the rapprochement between Prince Harry and William is true.
