Beatrice of York turns 32: the bond with the Queen and the rivalry with Kate Middleton
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenia of York, daughters of Duke Andrew of York, second son of Queen Elizabeth, are very close. Growing up together, they shared the most important moments of their lives, the most difficult and the happiest. And, as it is easy to imagine, they are in common from the same worldview and by the same principles.
If Eugenia has recently become the mother of her August, who was born last February, Beatrice has recently announced her pregnancy. In short, after a short time, both are trying the joy of motherhood. And, as often happens, new parents or those about to give birth to a child are often inundated with advice that, at times, is not required and much less welcome.
In particular, Beatrice and Eugenia, showing a rebellious streak that, instead, they keep hidden during the institutional commitments they take part in in the name of their belonging to the Royal Family, they seem unwilling to listen to suggestions others, without hiding too much annoyance.
The journalist Piers Morgan knows this well, being the father of four children, he tried to suggest to the two princesses how to manage little August and the unborn child that Beatrice carries in her womb. Their reaction was eloquent: both, according to what the presenter said, have raised the eyebrow almost annoyed. They then blocked him and, while thanking him, they preferred not to listen further.
In short, both have a very clear idea of what kind of education to impart to their children. Eugenia, attentive and affectionate mom, is taking care of little August and they are both waiting to be able to meet their little cousin or cousin.
For her part, Beatrice, together with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, is preparing in the best possible way to welcome her firstborn. A news, that of her pregnancy, which she has everyone cheered, in particular Queen Elizabeth, who is going through one of the most difficult times of her life after the death of her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The birth of Beatrice’s son should take place in autumn and, probably, until then it will be impossible to know her sex or name. What is certain is that there is great expectation to see both Princesses having fun with their children.
