Kate Middleton and William, George is getting bigger
TV series are now the most popular television product, an easy topic of chat that can attract everyone’s attention. Now, too the Royal Family, has become the subject of an animated series, whose protagonist is none other than the little prince George, entitled The Prince. The show is unfortunately not yet visible in Italy, as it airs on the HBO Max streaming channel, but it has all the air of being a success.
From what can be seen from the first trailer, it is legitimate to say that this is an irreverent and parodic animated series (in the wake of the Griffins or the Simpsons), consisting of 12 episodes that tell the alleged life of the British Royal Family. The original dub boasts some high-caliber names like Dan Stevens, who voices Prince Charles, and the charming Orlando Bloom, who doubles as none other than Prince Harry. The handsome actor and Meghan’s husband, among other things, have also befriended, as they are neighbors in Los Angeles. Who knows if their relationship will last even after Harry’s husband has seen the series!
From the funny trailer you can see how the undisputed protagonist is little Georgand, who on the show acts like a real adult. The “baby” Royal enjoys the attention of a private butler, who carefully takes care of his agenda and serves him with dedication, even taking pictures of him at the seaside. Kate and William’s son is also a real Latin lover, who picks up young girls from home to take them to the palace by helicopter.
At George’s side are then constantly present his little brothers, Charlotte and Louis, as well as his beloved parents. If the protagonist of the animated series poses as a prince at the height of his career, William on the other hand seems to be a king of the past.
Harry and Meghan, on the other hand, are in Los Angeles and send a postcard to their grandson. The trailer shows the couple entering their new home, and Diana’s son poses as if he is in a small building, thus making fun of the latter’s real caliber.
The series was created, written and produced by Gary Janetti, who also gives voice to the protagonist. Who knows if and when it will be possible to see it also in Italy!
