Since 1983, she is married to Jim Carter, whom he met in 1982 on the occasion of the Guys And Dolls show. In 1993, their only daughter was born Bessie. With her husband, she shares a passion for theater and cinema. Carter is also an acclaimed TV series actor. Among his many roles, he has also lent the face to Charles Carson in Downton Abbey.
