Kate Middleton in pink at Wimbledon: the shirt dress conquers everyone
The arrival of Kate Middleton at Wimbledon after the period of isolation, attracted the attention of many and sparked some controversy on the British tabloids. To discuss not only the green look of the Duchess of Cambridge, but a question related to quarantine.
According to some commentators, in fact, Kate would not have respected the rules for quarantine, shortening the time required by the English government to take part in the final of the European Championships that will be played between England and Italy, but above all in the clash at Wimbledon between the Italian Matteo Berrettini and Novak Djokovic.
Last week Kate would have come into contact with a Coronavirus positive person as also announced by a statement issued by Kensington Palace. “His Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but he is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home,” explained da Palazzo. The infection could have occurred in Wembley where the Duchess has gone twice in the last period. The first on June 29 to attend the England – Germany match, the second to take part in the All England Lawn Tennis for a charity event.
Kate’s last public engagement dates back to last July 2nd. Under English law it should have passed in isolation for 10 days. On July 10, however, as reported by the tabloids, she reappeared in Wimbledon to attend the women’s final of the tournament. A return that was marked by criticism because, as many point out, this means that Middleton would have stayed fewer days in isolation than expected.
The Palazzo has not commented on the story, but certainly the controversy adds to an already tense climate within the Royal Family. The fracture between Harry and William it did not mend, as the Queen hoped, during the inauguration of the statue of Lady Diana, where the two brothers appeared smiling, but distant. Not only that: shortly after the ceremony Harry quickly left London to return to his wife and children in the United States. Help now could come from Kate Middleton who would be determined to restore peace to the family and ready to ask even Meghan Markle for help, putting aside old grudges.
