Mandatory Green Pass, in sight there could be some changes that could make it necessary to access some types of public transport, events and structures. The hypotheses at the moment are different and the Government will have to find a balance between the various ideas in these days, and then put them in black on white in a new decree.
Infections, in fact, are increasing due to the Delta variant but if intensive therapies and hospitalizations are stable, to curb the growth of cases, therefore evaluating new rules. On the one hand, we are working with the vaccination campaign, on the other hand we are evaluating how to use the Green Pass more widely and with more stringent rules.
Green Pass, where it may be mandatory
Notwithstanding that a final decision has not yet been reached – which apparently will be put in black and white with a specific decree – there are various hypotheses on how and in what situations to make it mandatory to be in possession of the Green Pass. In fact, it seems that it may become necessary to travel on trains, ships, and airplanes, in the first case in particular for long-distance ones. Also it may be required to enter the stadium, take part in major events, concerts, cinemas and theaters. It remains mandatory for holidays that follow civil and religious ceremonies such as weddings or baptisms.
Among the possibilities that have been taken into consideration, even that it is required to access swimming pools and gyms. Furthermore, the Green Pass may be required to enter the discos (currently still closed). And at the restaurant? This too is one of the knots to be solved: it could be used to access those indoors, but it is one of the most discussed topics by political forces. At the moment, however, it seems that it will not be required to get on public transport such as buses and the subway.
Green pass, how to get it
Among the news for the Green Pass there is double certification: to be able to obtain it – apparently – it will be necessary to have completed the vaccination cycle with also the double dose, one for those who have undergone the Johnson & Jhonson vaccine. Finally, the Green Pass is also issued to those who have recovered from Covid – 19 and to those who have undergone a tampon in the previous 48 hours.
