Girl feels something inside during intercourse
Ellie Taylor-Davis, a young 28-year-old girl from London, was saved by a very fortuitous circumstance.
All this took place within a few months. During an intimate relationship with her boyfriend, Ellie felt a strange sensation in her belly: as if there was something annoying and bulky inside. The girl gave little weight to the episode, thinking it was only an intestinal disorder.
Fortunately, after a few weeks, Ellie Taylor-Davis she went to her gynecologist to insert the intrauterine contraceptive coil.
During the visit, the doctor found anomalies and prescribed further in-depth visits to the young girl. The ultrasound has shown, in fact, the presence of a bulky and dangerous element: a tumor that had reached the size of 16 centimeters. A worrying situation: the cancer occupied her uterus and also pressed on the internal organs above.
At just 28, Ellie’s life changed in a second: the tumor was operated on urgently.
Radiotherapy and chemotherapy were hypotheses set aside right away. In fact, waiting any longer to operate would certainly have led to a worsening. Luckily the surgery went very well, also thanks to Ellie’s very young age. The 16 centimeter mass was completely removed and it was not necessary to also affect the uterus. The young Londoner will therefore be able to have children in the future.

Prevention
Following her traumatic experience, Ellie Taylor-Davis, freelance journalist, wanted to tell as many women as possible her story to try to raise awareness of uterine cancer prevention. The girl mainly insists on routine visits and self-care even at a young age.
