Who Wins the Match Between the Gods and Superhumans?

The latest Netflix anime Record of Ragnarok has been the talk of the town for a lot of many reasons. While it’s still banned in India due to its controversy around Lord Shiva, the series is getting as many applauds for its stylized and humanized depiction of gods and superhumans. But the question arises that who wins the match between the gods and superhumans?

While most of the gods agree with it, Valkyrie Brunhild suggests giving humans one last chance and they get to fight for their existence. Gods agree for this face-off they’re stronger and will defeat humanity in no time, hence now the face-off! In the Record of Ragnarok, Season 1 concludes with 3 matches: the first match is Thor vs. Lu Bu, where Lu Bu (the human form) is defeated, the second match has Zeus vs. Adam, which, after a long fight where it seems Adam was winning, is later defeated.

In post-credits scenes, we see Hercules is put against British serial killer Jack the ripper. The gods wonder why he’s been chosen for the battle of humanity, Loki mentions that Brunnhilde is playing dirty as she says the gods must defeat the humans anyhow to wipe off humanity. How strong is Adam’s record of Ragnarok?

How Many Episodes Did “Record Of Ragnarok” Have In Its First Season?

After 12 24-minute episodes in its first season, viewers want more of “Record of Ragnarok.” The anime has yet to be renewed but based on the overwhelming of its inaugural season looks primed for a second season. With 45 chapters comprising the anime series, there remains plenty of things from the manga series Shuumatsu no Valkyrie that was not covered.

For now, there is no word on whether production for season 2 of “Record of Ragnarok” is in progress at Graphinica animation studio. No green light has been given but one is highly anticipated to be happening. And there is reason to be high for it.

The fight scenes and protagonists also saw fans responding well, yet more reason to be optimistic of seeing a second season come out. Considering the first season was made up of 12 episodes, it would be fair to speculate that the second season of “Record of Ragnarok” is likely to have the same. With no official word, this could change.
