What Is The Name Of The Third Season Of Titans?
Titans has officially wrapped its third season, after we spent the last couple months watching the superhero drama get even darker than ever before (a difficult feat, considering the track record of its previous two seasons). Following the third season’s final episode, you must be wondering where the Titans are headed now. Will Titans return for Season 4?
Kori (Anna Diop), Rachel (Teagan Croft), Donna (Conor Leslie), Conner (Joshua Orpin), and Blackfire (Damaris Lewis) head to the Lazarus Pit to use its water to cure those in the city who’d already been poisoned by the toxin. Jason (Curran Walters), who became Red Hood with the help of Crane, realizing the error of his ways, breaks away from Crane, and is (sort of) redeemed: He serves a key role in helping the Titans infiltrate Wayne Manor. Luckily, the team is successful in saving Gotham: We see Kory’s powers (though different from her original ones) return, allowing her to release the Lazarus Pit’s waters over the city.
Fear, once Scarecrow’s weapon, will plague him for the rest of his life. With their problems in Gotham wrapped up, the team — sans Donna, Blackfire, and Jason, but with the addition of Tim — decide to take a road trip back to San Francisco, hopefully to recover and reconnect after a season spent mostly apart. Though an official cast list hasn’t been revealed, based on the way season 3 ended, it looks like Joshua Orpin’s Connor/Superboy and Jay Lycurgo’s Tim Drake will also be on season 4’s roster.
Though his future is unclear, Curran Walter’s Jason Todd has seemingly been confirmed to come back. But whether “Redhood isn’t going anywhere” means he will remain on Titans or perhaps get his own spinoff is up for debate. Titans season 2 aired in 2019, almost a year after its first season premiered.
Further, the episode expanded the Titans universe quite a bit: along with the introduction of A.R.G.U.S, which we could possibly see more of Donna teams up with them, Vee name-dropped Roy Harper (who was mentioned briefly last season). Unlike the other season finales, season 3 leaves us with no clue as to the future villain. Maybe their adversary will be Ra’s al Ghul: Given the introduction of the Lazarus Pit, his name being mentioned more than once, and Dick’s resurrection, it’s entirely possible he’ll make an appearance.
