We’ve officially reached those long, lazy, wonderful summer months, which are supposed to be all kayak rides and days in the sun; let’s be honest, though, you’re still going to watch plenty of Netflix in the sweet embrace of air-conditioning. Luckily, the streaming service just released its latest batch of titles for July 1; read them all below. We The People (July 4) Janelle Monáe, H.E.R., Adam Lambert, Brandi Carlile, and other artists help explain civil rights and government in this animated series produced by Barack and Michelle Obama.
Atypical: Season Four (July 9) The Gardner family is back for the final season of Atypical, and there’s plenty of learning and growing on the horizon as protagonist Sam gets a new roommate. Heist (July 14) This new Netflix documentary series follows three of the biggest heists in history: a Miami airport theft, a million-dollar Vegas casino run, and a bourbon burglary in Kentucky. Never Have I Ever: Season Two (July 15) Last season ended with a major twist for teenage Devi, who’s caught between her longtime crush and her new flame (not to mention her overbearing mom and loving yet needy pals) in season two.

Watch : 5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Netflix’s The Circle Still staying indoors for the summer? Not to worry, Netflix has you covered. The streaming service announced their July lineup of movies, TV shows and documentaries on June 21 and let’s just say although this summer will be hot, this selection might be even hotter than anything you can imagine.
(It’s still unclear which version, but we will absolutely take whatever we can get!) But, for anyone who needs their rom-com fix, don’t sweat—there are plenty of more meet-cute moments for us to fawn and cry over coming next month including Life as We Know It (starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel), Love Actually (which features an ensemble cast including Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson) and No Strings Attached, which, as rom-com fans well know, stars Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. If that doesn’t make your heart skip a beat, the addition of the entire Twilight saga certainly will.
And to top it off, if you are looking for a mid-summer thrill, there’s plenty of horror to go around including the Fear Street film trilogy, based on the book series of R.L. Stine. (We’re getting Goosebumps just thinking about it).
