Virgin River Season 4 Coming Soon in 2022

While we’re still waiting for an official release date to be revealed for Virgin River season 4, we at least know the show, based on the series of novels by Robyn Carr, is “coming soon” in 2022. But with Netflix’s announcement that a fifth installment in the original series is already green-lit, it’s no surprise that many are wondering whether we could expect Virgin River season 5 to drop in 2022, too. As reported by Hollywood North, filming for Virgin River season 4 began in Aug. 2021, and in Sept. 2021, Netflix announced it had renewed the series for a fifth season!

Or it could revert back to its winter release schedule, following a similar pattern like the earlier seasons. But with the stars already confirming season 4 has wrapped up filming, what’s the likelihood of getting Virgin River season 5 this year as well? Is Virgin River season 5 coming in 2022?

While the highly romantic series is guaranteed to return for its fourth season in 2022, it’s still pretty unclear whether Virgin River season 5 will return this year too. According to IMDb Pro, the fifth installment “will air 2022”, but we would take this information with a grain of salt, as this could just be a provisional release date and is likely to change. But needless to say, it still gives us a glimmer of hope that we could return to the sweet town of Virgin River again a lot sooner.

Of course, until we get season 4 release date, it’s unlikely we’ll get more information about season 5. All episodes of Virgin River seasons 1, 2 and 3 are available to stream on Netflix.

What Month Did Martin Henderson Reveal That The Filming For Season 4 Was Wrapped Up?

Fans are eagerly waiting for the release date of Virgin River Season 4. Recently, Martin Henderson (Jack) and revealed that the filming for Season 4 was wrapped up in Thanksgiving month. Breckenridge said: Season five, we were supposed to start in March, but we’ve been pushed so… I don’t know.

She also explained the reason behind the delay. Not really interested in doing that ever again actually, it’s really cold. As per Martin Henderson’s post on his social media page, the series went for post-production.

So we could expect Virgin River season 4 to release in Q2-Q3 2022 (anywhere between April and July 2022). As for the release date of Virgin River Season 5, Breckenridge said, if they start Virgin River Season 5 shooting in summer, apparently the fifth season will be out in 2023.
