When Is The Release Date For Titans Season 3 On Netflix In International Regions?
Titans season 3 has finally set its release date on Netflix in international regions which will be in December 2021. In the US, the show moved over to HBO Max for its third season but outside the United States, Netflix still has the license where it markets the show as a Netflix Original. Internationally some of the DC Universe (now HBO Max) DC shows have strange distribution.
When will Titans be on Netflix internationally? Netflix doesn’t receive weekly drops of Titans like it does for some other DC shows and instead has to wait a few months after wrapping. Our original prediction was that Netflix internationally would receive Titans season 3 sometime Q3-Q4 of 2021.
Titans has been rumored to be departing Netflix internationally as HBO Max slowly rolls out around the world (although in most cases it won’t be for at least five years based on existing deals). Again, nothing official but the same has been rumored for Close Enough which Netflix recently picked up internationally. Will Titans seasons 1-3 be on Netflix in the United States?

What Hbo Max Series Kicks Off Its Third Season With A Truncated Version Of One Of The Most Notorious Batman Stories Ever Told?
It’s telling that the HBO Max series Titans kicks off its third season with a truncated version of one of the most notorious Batman stories ever told. In the Titans episode, Bruce Wayne is on a flight and unable to help Jason, who goes after the Joker alone, in spite of Bruce’s warnings. And he gets bludgeoned to death by the Joker, who is shown from so far away that it might as well be any random crook with a crowbar.
This may well be a point intended by Titans’ writers — heroes turning away from the impulse to turn inward and go it alone has been a major series theme from the jump — but it all goes down too quickly for viewers to feel strongly about it, mostly because Titans almost immediately launches into another famous Batman story. This is the “fuck Batman” show, remember? Titans has always been a little too in love with the Batman side of its Batman-free narrative.
However, before the series can dive into what the team is like now, Jason’s death calls Dick from the Titans’ home city of San Francisco back to his old Gotham City haunts, and the Titans eventually follow. The spine of Titans season 3 is an adaptation of Under the Hood, the 2004-2006 Batman story by Judd Winick, Doug Mahnke, and others who resurrected Jason Todd after his 1988 death as the villainous Red Hood, out for revenge. The Titans take on it holds few surprises for anyone with a passing familiarity with the source material or one of its other adaptations, like the 2015 video game Batman: Arkham Knight.
That isn’t even that big of a problem; the show’s second season similarly spun out a version of Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s classic The Judas Contract story from The New Teen Titans, which wasn’t terribly subversive, but was still exciting to watch. It was about the Teen Titans. This might make it sound like Titans ignores its non-Bat-related cast more than it does.
Kory eventually gets a subplot picking up a thread from the last season, where her maybe-evil sister arrives on Earth looking for her. While it takes a while for them to show up, Hawk and Dove (Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly) return, and the show’s longest-running non-Dick character arc returns with them. Unfortunately, that’s kind of it for the season’s first half.
What Comic Book Series Is The Fantasy Drama Inspired By?
The fantasy drama is inspired by the long-running Teen Titans comic book series, following the troubled next generation of superheroes as they take on all manner of threats. While their movie division is still a little behind the competition, the DC Universe continues to expand on television with another season of Titans confirmed to be part of the next wave of content. However, there’s been little indication of who the team will be facing next, with even star Brenton Thwaites telling Entertainment Weekly that he had “not a single idea” where the story would go in season four.
Titans season 4 release date rumours There’s no word yet on when Titans season four will drop on HBO Max, but previous seasons have been broadcast through September and October, so it stands to reason we could see it in autumn 2022. Another season of Titans was announced at this year’s DC FanDome celebration, where it was also confirmed that Doom Patrol and Pennyworth would also be coming back for another round. As HBO Max is not available in the UK, Titans is distributed via Netflix on our shores, usually arriving as a binge-watch launch after the staggered rollout across the pond has concluded.

It’s expected that he’ll be joined again by co-stars Anna Diop (Starfire), Ryan Potter (Beast Boy), Teagan Croft (Raven) and Joshua Orpin (Superboy) in the upcoming episodes. Less likely to return is Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall, who was killed off midway through season three, with the actor now committed to a follow-up gig leading Prime Video’s Reacher. We’ll have a firmer idea on the key players in Titans season four when the show begins filming next year.
Star Brenton Thwaites acknowledged the sparsity of information in an interview with TVLine, explaining that the season four plot will “depend on the characters they want to use, just because we as a company are exploring what we’re going to do”. But as far as I know it’ll be shot in Toronto, and probably during the summer — so it’ll be a little less morose and cold-looking!” So for now, we can only speculate on what Titans season four will have in store for the team.
