The first season of Evil arrived on Netflix on Oct. 1, 2020, and many subscribers wonder if Evil season 2 will be available on the streaming service before the year comes to an end. The supernatural drama was very well-received by Netflix’s subscribers, and it’s no surprise that fans are eager for more entries. The Certified Fresh series on Rotten Tomatoes is a fascinating endeavor to be held primarily for fans of the genre, which follows a forensic pathologist, Catholic seminarian, and technology contractor as they investigate incidents of the paranormal variety.
The show initially aired on CBS, and it was announced in October 2019 that there would be another season coming. Then, in May 2021, it was revealed that Evil season 2 would be moving to Paramount Plus, the streaming service that was once called CBS All Access. Evil season 2 began airing episodes on June 20, 2021, and the 13 episode run is scheduled to come to an end on September 12, 2021.
The fact that Evil season 2 has moved over to Paramount Plus doesn’t bode well for its chances of joining season on Netflix. This may be too horrifying to comprehend, but the options are very high new episodes will not be available outside of the streaming service once known as CBS All Access. And the news regarding Evil’s original set of episodes on the streaming powerhouse is somewhat terrifying as well.
But the news isn’t a complete nightmare as there are several great supernatural dramas available to enjoy on Netflix now. Titles like The Magicians, Wynonna Earp, Lucifer, Riverdale, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, just to name a few, are ready to stream.
