Snowpiercer season 3 is on route, following a hugely successful TV adaptation of Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 post-apocalyptic film of the same name. The first two seasons originally premiered on Netflix, but it has since moved to TNT. Sam Linsky and Adrienne O’Riain, co-heads of scripted original programming for TBS, TNT and truTV said: Snowpiercer has been an incredibly successful series for us that continues to capture the imagination of viewers, grow audience and maintain strong ratings.

We’re excited to keep the train running into Season Four. In the US, Snowpiercer season 3 will arrive on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, on TNT. For UK viewers, they’ll be able to watch episodes every following Tuesday on Netflix, so the first episode will be available there on Tuesday, Jan. 25th.

When Will Snowpiercer Return To Netflix?

Snowpiercer is returning for a third season and will be coming to Netflix globally (except the United States) on a weekly schedule starting in late January 2022. For those not keeping up with the show or introduced just yet, Snowpiercer is the TNT series that turns the Bong Joon-ho movie from 2013 which itself is based on a graphic novel, into a serialized format. Netflix secured the rights to the show internationally and for the past 2 seasons has received weekly episodes of the show.

Season 3 of Snowpiercer production began in early March 2021 and wrapped filming by the end of July 2021. Season 3 episode 1 kicks off on January 24th, 2022 on TNT. This will not affect its international availability on Netflix for the moment despite HBO Max slowly rolling out around the globe. Season three’s release date falls back in line with the season one premiere time of early year/winter.
