Whilst Beastars is labelled as a Netflix original anime series, the platform only purchases the international broadcasting rights – meaning that any renewal decision is made by Studio Orange and the Japanese broadcast partners. Thankfully, the studio wasted no time in taking advantage of the hype surrounding the series, officially renewing Beastars for season 3 on July 20. There is also plenty of source material from the manga series left to adapt into more anime seasons, which can often be the decisive factor in series renewals.

What Is The Name Of The Popular Anime Series Beastars?

No word yet on when we will see the third and final season. Studio Orange revealed on Twitter the new logo for the popular anime series Beastars’ third season, and also announced that the newest season would be the last for the series. Beastars is based on the manga of the same name created by Paru Itagaki.

The world of Beastars is split between carnivores and herbivores, whose fragile coexistence is put into jeopardy. The anime debuted weekly in Japan on Netflix Japan and Fuji TV’s +Ultra in October 2019 and would later premiere in the U.S. on Netflix in March of 2020. Following the first season run in Japan, the show was quickly renewed for a second season.

Beastars Season Two debuted in the U.S. on July 15th of this year along with a quick third season renewal. The manga ended its run in October of 2020 after 22 volumes. “There must be many questions,” Studio Orange announced in their statement, “But this is all we can reveal at the time.”

Netflix’S Beastars: Final Season Anime Will Finish The Story Based On What Manga Series?

On December 7, 2021, Studio Orange confirmed that the official title for BEASTARS Season 3 is BEASTARS: Final Season. Instead of referring to the renewed anime as BEASTARS Season 3, the official accounts are calling it a new animated arc or chapter which means it’s an episodic TV show again. What will happen to Legoshi and Haru in Netflix’s BEASTARS Season 3 anime?

Which Season Of Beastars Is Now Available To Stream On Netflix?

After another stint in “Netflix Jail” the second season of Beastars is finally available to stream on Netflix. However, a decision may arrive very soon given the fact that Beastars season 2 is now on Netflix. Does Beastars need a third season?

Episode 24 of the anime skipped some of the manga in-between the moments after Riz’s defeat and Legoshi’s talk with Haru. This means Louis will definitely not be returning to lead The Shishigumi. Meanwhile, Haru will continue her confusing time of navigating her relationship/friendship with Legoshi, who continues to fear taking the next step with the rabbit out of concern his predatory instincts will lead him to kill her.

The Interspecies Relations Arc covers manga chapters 100 to 123, so at the very least we expect the first half of season 3 to cover the entire arc. The remaining episodes should cover the first half of the final arc of Beastars’ “Revenge of the Love Failure.” In total we expect season 3 to cover roughly forty-five to fifty manga chapters.

Beastars’ season 2 has finished airing in Japan and hit Netflix in July 2021, but those who already saw the harrowing ending of season 2 are now wondering if season 3 will happen.
