Mostly not for kids. I would rate 5 stars, but I don’t think anyone needs to see so much nudity. Cursing is whatever, we’re all accustomed to all the words said.
Violence is heavy and the show has no limits as to what it will show. Almost all of the violence is unrealistic in the later episodes. I took this show just fine.
What Is One Of The Best Sci-Fi Adult Animated Anthology Tv Series?
Common Sense Media has lost it’s common sense!!! I started hating this website when it said that this series lacks compelling stories. I mean Beyond The Aqua Lift and Sonnie’s Edge are true master pieces and should be made into full-feature length movies.
I don’t know why common sense don’t like true masterpieces like these and rate 5 stars to those overrated movies like Titanic and The Godfather Trilogy. Coming on the age-appropriation part, this series does contain extreme non-stop gruesome violence, sex, nudity and language but if your child still wants to see these series, then these r some episodes that contain at least PG-13 content( An don’t worry(these episodes are anthological so they are not connected)):- 1) Three Robots (Contains average bad language and sexual innuendoes though) 2) Ice Age (Only one mention of sex) 3) When The Yogurt Took Over (One seen of a topless woman with breasts visible which is only for 10 seconds and is Disney-type animated, so not realistic) 4) Suits (Contains cartoonish video-game style mechs vs monsters violence and average bad language) 5) Fish Night (Contains a butt of a man scene but only for less than 5 seconds and in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series style) 6) Helping Hand (Only one scene where a woman has to break her frozen arm from her body to survive and average bad language) 7) Lucky 13 (Contains PG-13 violence and average bad language(and even one scene where a hand of a dead man cut off is seen, but for less than 3 seconds)) 8) Blindspot (Contains Fast-and-Furious Oggy & the Cockroaches styled violence and average bad language) 9) Zima Blue (Super clean episode but a scene where a human does a operation to change into a cyborg(Is Oggy & the Cockroaches styled animated so not that gross)) Now watch these episodes also(only if you can handle extreme over-the-top violence and bad language but 10% nudity):- 1) The Secret War (Only one scene of a dead nude woman(can be easily skipped and not that important)). 2) Sucker of Souls (Only a scene where a cat has sex with a another cat but only for less than 2) 3) Shape Shifters (Only one scene in which a werewolf-human’s butt is seen but in darkness) 4) The Dump (Only one scene of a porn magazine’s top cover shown and a man’s penis(but both in darkness)) Thank you and have a great Netflix and chill!

When Was ‘Love, Death & Robots’ First Announced?
When it was first announced back in 2019, ‘Love, Death & Robots’ had a lot of critics initially making comparisons with ‘Black Mirror’, but the anthology series creators – Tim Miller, and some director guy called *check notes* David Fincher – were more interest in reviving the like of ‘Heavy Metal’. For those who may be unfamiliar, ‘Heavy Metal’ was a sci-fi / fantasy magazine in the late ’70s that began life as a US translation of ‘Métal hurlant’, which featured drawings and works from the likes of Mœbius. ‘Heavy Metal’ was hugely influential, featuring adult-themed stories and imagery – some of it highly sexualised – and has been a touchstone for many directors, artists, and writers in the years since.
Like the first season or volume, ‘Love, Death & Robots’ features eight unique stories, none of which are linked to the other, all of them with differing art styles and themes. Moreover, the stories themselves feel far more contained and less like they’re truncated showreels or a sizzle video for an animation studio. ‘Pop Squad’ is our favourite of the eight episodes, taking inspiration from ‘Blade Runner’, ‘Altered Carbon’, and other sci-fi noirs, and deals with an unsettling story involving a world where immortality comes at a terrible cost.
‘The Drowned Giant’, meanwhile, is a JG Ballard short story about a humongous naked man who washes up on an English beach and sees him contemplating life, death, and a giant penis. ‘Automated Customer Service’, meanwhile, is a slapstick comedy about a murderous domestic servant-robot written by John Scalzi, who wrote the excellent sci-fi satire ‘Redshirts’. Inventive stories like these can only exist in small, tiny nuggets that are dumped onto an already overloaded streaming service and fired into the ether where they’ll most likely be overlooked by the vast majority of the user base.
The same could be said for ‘Love, Death & Robots’. In a time of shrinking options for creative people, this isn’t something to be ignored.
