New series on Jeffrey Dahmer’s murders planned for Netflix Actor Evan Peters is set to play Milwaukee serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in a new Netflix series, according to multiple entertainment reports.Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, will be co-created by director and producer Ryan Murphy and writer Ian Brennan.According to Deadline, the series cast will also include Richard Jenkins, Penelope Ann Miller and Niecy Nash. Dahmer was convicted of murdering 16 men and boys from 1978 to 1991.He was sentenced to life in prison.Dahmer was beaten to death at age 34 in 1994 by a fellow inmate at Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage.According to TVLine, the series will focus on the perspective of Dahmer’s victims and will also look at the police incompetence and apathy that allowed the Wisconsin native to go on a multiyear killing spree, with Dahmer repeatedly being nearly apprehended but then let go by a justice system that saw him as harmless.Jenkins will reportedly play Dahmer’s father while Miller will play his mother.Deadline reported the series will consist of 10 episodes.Production was scheduled to begin this week.The series could debut on Netflix next spring.Few other details have been released.
