The Netflix original series was renewed back in April and is now finally gearing up to start filming.

Perhaps she’ll post glimpses of the new season’s progress including the wardrobe changes for Ginny that has star Antonia Gentry excited about her character’s continuing journey with fashion. Still, even with curated access to what the cast and crew are going to be up to, we’re still a ways off from Ginny and Georgia season 2’s premiere on Netflix. Here’s when we could see the show return in 2022.

There’s also Avatar: The Last Airbender to consider. The live-action adaptation of the hit Nickelodeon show has the same production schedule as Ginny and Georgia season 2. Granted it’s a fantasy show and will likely be in post-production longer than the teen drama, but if Ginny and Georgia is pushed into the fall, its position in Netflix’s line-up could be affected if Avatar: The Last Airbender is scheduled to drop in 2022 as well.
