Cobra Kai’s boss has revealed if season 5 will be the last for the Netflix show. Josh Heald, the show’s producer, opened up about the end of the series in a new interview – and, you’ll be happy to know, it’s good news! Revealing season 5 won’t be the end, Heald told Screen Rant that those behind the scenes have more beyond season 5 and admitted they’re not writing to the end of the series in season 5 right now.
In our minds, it’s crazy to believe how far ahead of the story we are than what the audience has seen so far. Netflix Related: Every Karate Kid Easter egg in Cobra Kai season 3 He also opened up a little more about what season 5 will bring, describing it as another enormous season with a lot of new flavours and a lot of things that you haven’t seen before yet on the show, adding, And it’s not the end. Despite Cobra Kai’s fourth season not coming until December 31 (a festive treat! ), it was first announced back in August that the show will be back for season 5.
And if the sneak peek is anything to go by, it seems like we could be seeing some feuds being put to one side and the most unlikely of characters coming together. Many of us used to be enemies, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) says at the beginning of the clip (which you can check out above), but rivalries don’t need to last forever. Cobra Kai is available to stream on Netflix.

What Was The Last Thing On My Cobra Kai Bingo Card?
But the very last thing on my Cobra Kai bingo card was the country music superstar showing up to the All Valley festivities, as herself, only to belt out a Music Cityfied ’80s power ballad. The kiddos switched sides faster than you can chop a 2 x 4. As is usually the case with this show, it’s a lot to unpack.
Miguel’s Dad Knows Karate, Just a Hunch Looks like Cobra Kai is going on another road trip. Instead of revisiting Okinawa, the show will keep things a little closer to home and head to Mexico. Terry Silver Leaves Cocaine Behind, Fulfills His Destiny Finally, Silver admits that he was snorting coke during the events of The Karate Kid III.
Looks like Terry Silver will be the one and only big bad of Cobra Kai Season Five. The Kids Are (Somewhat) All Right Who’s good? In this season of Cobra Kai, allegiances and moods seemingly change by the episode.
Let’s hope he never grows back that abomination on his head. I wouldn’t be surprised if she went The Karate Kid III and jumped ship to Cobra Kai next season. Little LaRusso: Still don’t feel bad for him.
Netflix The Best Karate Kid Lives On Season Three of Cobra Kai celebrated the great The Karate Kid II—with LaRusso revisiting Okinawa, hanging out with Kumiko, and making amends with Chozen. Praise Mr. Miyagi, Chozen is back. We’re just hoping LaRusso doesn’t bicker with Chozen like he did with Johnny.
Who Did Daniel Team Up With At Mr. Miyagi’S Tomb?
The following story contains spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 4. Season 4 was no different. The person Daniel teamed up with (at Mr. Miyagi’s tomb) at the end of Season 4 was Chozen Toguchi, a character who originally appeared in The Karate Kid Part II, but also showed up in a brief role in Season 3 of Cobra Kai.
Johnny has a good thing going with Carmen, Miguel’s mom, and seems to finally have made a breakthrough in reconnecting with his son, Robby. Unfortunately, in a very drunk moment, Johnny had some sort of mistake where he either thought Miguel was Robby or otherwise was thinking of Robby; he told Miguel, who really needs a father figure and kind of looks for it and found it in Johnny, that he loves Robby. Johnny is going to follow Miguel to Mexico City, and make sure he’s safe as he searches for his real father.
As a result, Miguel affirmed his relationship with Sam, but we basically see that if Johnny is not going to be the Dad he can depend on, he’s going to go seek out to see where he came from. Robby Great season for Robby after not having a ton to do in Season 3. We see him get some chemistry with Tory at Cobra Kai, but at the end he has one good thing and one bad thing.
The Karate Kid franchise’s ultimate big bad reaped what he sewed by bringing Terry Silver back into the mix; Kreese demonstrated weakness by letting Tory choose whichever strategy she wanted in the final, and Silver paid him back by framing him for the assault (and attempted murder?) Silver’s not going to get away with it, and maybe Kreese winds up the lesser of two evils. Terry Silver Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new main Cobra Kai villain!
He had some ups and downs throughout the season, and while he turned out to be a good guy again utimately, Robby, Kyler, and Cobra Kai shaved his mohawk which was a major blow. He was so optimistic at first but Cobra Kai has changed him already into beng someone that early season Kenny would’ve hated. Are we supposed to kind of feel bad for him at the end of the season?
What Is The Name Of The Fourth Season Of Netflix’S Cobra Kai?
*** The fourth season of Netflix’s Cobra Kai is in the books. Before we get into what could potentially happen in Season 5, here’s a brief summary of the Cobra Kai Season 4 finale: “The Rise.” The episode begins with Stingray waking up in the hospital (remember he was attacked by Silver at the end of Episode 8) before we head back to the All Valley Tournament.
Miguel’s injury and Robby’s victory over the much-improved Demetri in the semifinals lead to Robby and Eli (the karate artist formerly known as Hawk) colliding in the finals. Following a flashback showing Sensei Kreese’s post All Valley Tournament attack on Johnny (the beginning of Karate Kid II), a seemingly remorseful Kreese eschews his “No Mercy” motto and instructs Tory to do whatever she wants. “You’ve come this far,” Kreese tells Tory.
Johnny returns home and learns that Miguel has left for Mexico City to find his father. Johnny tells Carmen that he’s going to find Miguel before she reveals that her ex-husband, Miguel’s dad, doesn’t know that Miguel exists. First, Sensei Silver strikes a deal with Stingray to frame Kreese.
The season concludes with Daniel at Mr. Miyagi’s gravestone as he informs his late mentor about his plans to break his agreement with Kreese, saying “there’s too much at stake to honor an agreement made with men who have none.” Daniel vows to do whatever it takes to stop them, even if that means “going on offense.” “I know this isn’t your fight, and this is a lot to ask, but will you help me finally put an end to Cobra Kai?”
WILL MIGUEL BE IN COBRA KAI SEASON 5? I asked the Cobra Kai creators this very question but they, politely, declined to answer. And while this is pure speculation, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Robby join Johnny on this trip, which would potentially help to alleviate some of the bad blood between Robby and Miguel and Robby and Johnny.
We have a full article about Karate Kid III villain Mike Barnes (Sean Kanan) scheduled to go live on January 1, but I personally believe we’re almost certainly going to see the man once known as “karate’s bad boy” in Season 5. WILL KENNY BE BACK FOR COBRA KAI SEASON 5? WILL STINGRAY RETURN FOR COBRA KAI SEASON 5?
“He’s tied in with a lot of stuff at the end of the season, so hopefully that means more of him because we’re huge fans.” Cobra Kai Season 4 is now streaming on Netflix.
