Netflix After finding Lily at the bar with Edgar and realizing how drunk she is, Dash decides to take her to her great-aunt Mrs. The book’s ending involves Dash and Lily being brought into police custody Lily still walks dogs on the show, but Boris doesn’t make an appearance. Netflix In the book, Dash becomes a prime suspect on the WashingtonSquareMommies blog when he accidentally hits a child in the eye with a snowball after a group of kids instigate a fight with him. Who Wrote Dash And Lily’S Book Of Dares?
Based on Rachel Cohn and David Levithan’s 2010 novel Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares, Netflix’s adorable Dash & Lily presents us with an anti-meet cute of sorts in a sea of holiday rom-coms. Dash (Austin Abrams) and Lily (Midori Francis) send each other messages through a red notebook that Lily plants at Strand Bookstore, pawning their tome of informal love letters off to a series of disgruntled New Yorkers. Six episodes in, they eventually meet at a Christmas Eve party, of course.

When Dash makes a fuss about why Home Alone 2 is bad, Lily immediately feels drawn to him. They end up having small talk while getting drinks and chat about Lily’s snazzy Christmas dress, neither really into the party scene. Only Dash knows Lily’s name through their correspondence in the notebook.
Before getting hammered on peppermint schnapps on Christmas, Lily meets with her aunt, who accidentally (maybe not so accidentally) uses Dash’s name as a pun. The first time they officially meet truly knowing who the other person is, they fight in a cab about their relationships with other people.

What Is The Short Answer To The Question About The Ending Of Dash And Lily?
The short answer is, yes! The Dash and Lily ending is indeed a happy one. While I suspected that would be the case since the show is mostly your typical rom-com, I did have my fears.
With a little help from his best friend and even Sofia, Dash manages to put together a magical, romantic evening in The Strand, complete with an array of Lily’s favorite New York foods and a tree decked out with special ornaments that serve as a tribute to their many dares and adventures. He knows it will be Lily’s last night in the city before she and her parents move to Fiji. As for Lily, she’s all set to move because her grandpa is unwilling to let her live with him in NYC due to her recent behavior.

I think it could be interesting if the series starts Season 2 with them broken up, and we get to see Langston with a new love interest, or him trying to win Benny back. What’s Next For Boomer And Sofia? I expected to see them start to explore their feelings for each other in Season 2, not in the Season 1 finale.

They’ll be co-parenting Lily, so they’ll be forced to interact more. Dash and Lily don’t really need the red journal now that they’ll be seeing each other face-to-face, but it was an important part of their love story, so I believe it will find a new way to resurface in Dash and Lily Season 2. There is also a possibility that Dash and Lily could end up separated again for the holidays like maybe Lily spending Christmas in Fiji with her parents or Dash’s parents finally taking an interest and flying him off somewhere for Christmas.
Dash and Lily Season 1 is available on Netflix.
