The main disadvantage is that the result lasts less than with hot wax.
Hot waxing is the most popular method for hair removal. Made with waxes and resins that melt with heat, it must then be removed by means of special strips to be torn in the opposite direction to that of hair growth. Usually this is the method that is used in beauty centers, but, on the market, there are hot waxing kits to be done at home. The biggest advantage is certainly the duration of the effect: with hot waxing the hair will not grow back before 3/4 weeks. The most annoying disadvantage is the pain, plucking the hair from the root is not a painless operation and in some cases it also leaves the skin very red.
Another type of waxing is the Brazilian. With this hair removal, the wax sticks directly to the hair and tears off without the aid of strips. Particularly suitable for sensitive skin, it generally causes less pain. The Brazilian wax in fact ideal for delicate areas such as the groin and armpits.
