Despite believing that Jennifer was always alive, no one listened to Murphy — especially Sarah. Although the episode ends with Murphy getting arrested, she carefully waits to rub some salt into the wound by telling Sarah just how wrong she was and the location of Jennifer Walker.

While this ending is particularly dark for Murphy, it does end on one high note. Both Max and Felix visit her in prison, with the former giving his final goodbye and the latter truly showing up as Murphy’s best friend. In the Dark’s Season 1 and 2 are streaming now on Netflix.
