Netflix Highlights For This Week on Netflix

Another week of Netflix goodies awaits and animation in all different types of forms dominating the upcoming week. As always, before we dive into the full list which is extracted from our full July 2021 preview list, we’ll walk you through our top 3 most anticipated releases this week. Our Highlights For This Week on Netflix Masters of the Universe: Revelation (Season 1) Coming to Netflix: Friday By the power of Greyskull!

Only the first five episodes will be hitting Netflix on Friday with more promised imminently. The series picks up where the original 80s show leaves off. This is a German-American-produced movie and takes place in a plane that quickly descends into chaos when not only a group of violent terrorists take over, a woman on the plane is hiding a dark secret.

Produced in New Zealand, the movie follows three Māori cousins who have grown up separated but come together. The movie is directed by Ainsley Gardiner and Briar Grace-Smith. What Is Netflix Bringing In July?

Judging by the streaming service’s newly released list of arrivals, Netflix is bringing the fireworks this July. And also the furries. More about that, uh, unique situation later.

There are crowd-pleasing action blockbusters (Air Force One, Terminator 2), comedy classics (Love Actually, Talladega Nights, the Austin Powers trilogy), gems both Oscar-nominated (Boogie Nights, Django Unchained) and overlooked (Snowpiercer), and a modern horror marvel with The Strangers. Looking to kick back and relax this upcoming month? Check out the Kung Fu Panda and Karate Kid trilogies.

You win some, you lose some. We haven’t even looked at the Netflix originals for July, a star-studded bunch perfect for the star-spangled month. The pause on the Pogues is over as season two of beach-set treasure hunt Outer Banks will come ashore at the end of the month, along with a new season of the streaming favorite Virgin River and another slice of the skit comedy champ I Think You Should Leave.

And speaking of horors, there’s (*deep sigh*) this. Their eyes keep following me. HOW DO I MAKE THEM STOP LOOKING AT ME!?
