Every woman knows that nature is an incredible source to make skin and hair softer and healthier, right?
But what a lot of people don’t know is that there are many beauty products that can be made at home – and that have an incredible result.
Of course, always before creating a “recipe”, you should study the ingredients you will use a lot, since even if they are natural they may have some contraindications to use.
But with care, you can create many items to moisturize, nourish and transform your hair, skin and other body care. After all, who doesn’t use that “grandma’s recipe” that usually works super well?
With that in mind, today we’ve sorted out some amazing tips for you to create your own beauty products and kick ass!
1- Lip scrub
A very simple recipe, but one that will make your lips much softer is to mix two spoonfuls of brown sugar, one spoonful of honey and one spoonful of coconut oil.
Besides being great, this scrub can still be totally organic (if you use items from this line).
2- Lifting Cream for the eyes
Do you want to make the eye area firmer? Then mix: 4 spoons of avocado oil, 2 spoons of marigold oil, 2 spoons of rose oil, ½ spoon of cornstarch, 2 spoons of melted beeswax, 1 capsule of vitamin E and 3 drops of lemon essence oil.
Use a stainless steel bain marie, add all ingredients except vitamin and lemon oil and stir gently.
Take out of the fire and add the two ingredients. Put them in pots and that’s it.
3- Natural tooth whitener
Let the teeth whiter by mixing: sodium bicarbonate (aluminum free), 3% food hydrogen peroxide and mint essential oil.
Use a teaspoon of bicarbonate with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide and mix in a smooth paste, then add a few drops of the essential oil.
You can dip your toothbrush in this mixture and brush for about 2 minutes before brushing with regular toothpaste.
4 – Face cleaning wipes
Use: 2 cups of distilled water, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 10 drops of any essential oil of your preference (if you are going to use two, use 5 drops for each), you can also use some drops of vitamin E or aloe vera and some clean old towels.
Then just dip the towels in the mixture and leave it for a while. Then put them in a little pot and that’s it.
5- Acne Sectivating Lotion
Use: 1/8 teaspoon of coconut oil, a few drops of melaleuca essential oil and tubes to place the lotion.
Mix it all up, put it in the tubes and that’s it. If your kitchen is too hot, put the tubes in the fridge first. Always keep the lotion refrigerated.
6- Make-up remover tissues
Use: 1 glass jar, cotton tissues (or those “pillows”), ½ cup of water, 2 tablespoons baby shampoo, ¼ teaspoon baby oil.
Mix the water, the shampoo and the oil. Place this solution on the glass and add about 10 tissues at a time until the whole pot is covered.
7- Impurity removing mask
Use: 2 teaspoons black clay, 3 capsules activated carbon, 3 to 4 tablespoons aloe vera, 1 to 2 tablespoons shea butter, 30 ml of chamomile, 1 drop of eucalyptus essential oil.
Start by melting the butter in a bain marie, then mix it with the chamomile tea.
Then mix the clay and activated carbon and add the aloe vera and essential oil, mixing well. Apply to the entire face for about 15 minutes and wash well.
8- Lemon and coconut shampoo
For this recipe, you will use organic shampoo base, coconut oil and lemon essence.
Mix all the ingredients and that’s it. You’ll have a sulfate-free shampoo and much more natural.
9- Conditioner
Use: 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil.
Mix the two until you get a folder.
It can be applied all over the hair, after washing with the shampoo and it can take 10-15 minutes to act.
10- Face tonic
Use: fresh thyme and hamamelis. Leave both in infusion for one or two days in a cool, dry place.
Pass the liquid (which must be amber) through the coffee filter and then place it in a sterile bottle.
Leave it in the refrigerator for maintenance.
11- Moisturizing leg cream
Use this cream after shaving and make your legs softer.
Mix one cup of shampoo, one cup of conditioner, 5 tablespoons of moisturizer, 5 tablespoons of coconut oil. That’s it!
