Which Netflix Film Stars Idris Elba And Caleb Mclaughlin?
The month of April will bring a ton of new originals to Netflix. First up is the new Netflix film Concrete Cowboy, starring award-winning actor Idris Elba and rising star Caleb McLaughlin. The film, which is coming in early April, follows McLaughlin’s character Cole, a rebellious teen who discovers a community of cowboys living in Philadelphia while spending the summer with his estranged father, Idris’ Harp.
Jamie Foxx is also coming to Netflix with the new sitcom Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!. Foxx’s own relationship with his daughter Corinne Foxx inspired him to create and produce the family-friendly series, in which Foxx stars as Brian, a bachelor who suddenly becomes a full-time dad to his teen daughter, Sasha (Kyla-Drew). Plenty of older TV shows and movies will also make their way onto the streamer in April.

What Is The Name Of The New Animated Film?
Shadow And Bone’ headlines next month’s Netflix offerings. COVID-19 isn’t going away entirely, but it does seem as though the worst has passed. Netflix has been one of our go-to diversions during the last year of lockdowns and quarantines and social distancing.
Here are some highlights for April with the full list of titles below. Shadow and Bone is the latest attempt by a streaming service to capture some of that Game Of Thrones magic, though I maintain that no show will be able to do that with a Netflix-style release schedule. Still, this could be an interesting new fantasy.
The first is a coming-of-age story and the second more of a heist. When a stowaway shows up on a mission to Mars, things go wrong: I’ve been watching both Lost (with Daniel Dae Kim) and The United States of Tara (with Toni Collette) so this trailer sure has a lot of familiar faces! Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer co-star in Thunder Force, a comedy about a world filled with supervillains where normal people are given superpowers and the ability to fight back.
Could be funny, could be really stupid. Idris Elba and Caleb McLaughlin (who you’ll recognize from Stranger Things) star in Concrete Cowboy based on the novel Ghetto Cowboy by G.Neri about a boy and his estranged father who is part of a “vibrant urban-cowboy subculture.” Looks fascinating honestly.
The Machines which is noteworthy since it’s from the creators of the wonderful Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. It stars Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Mike Rianda, Eric Andre, Olivia Colman, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Charlyne Yi, Blake Griffin, Conan O’Brien, Doug the Pug, Sasheer Zamata, Elle Mills, Alex Hirsch, and Jay Pharoah. Remember when animated movies didn’t have famous voice actors?
