Nowadays it is increasingly common to celebrate Halloween, also known as Halloween.
Although the official date is only on October 31st, throughout the month several people hold parties with the theme, in addition to celebrations in schools, English courses, among others.
If you’ve been invited to a Halloween party, but you’re out of time to think about your costume, here are some simple tips that we’ve separated to kick ass!
1- Frida Kahlo on the Day of the Dead
The “Day of the Dead” is a Mexican tradition that also begins to be celebrated on October 31. That’s why many people use their references at Halloween parties.
Frida Kahlo is considered to be one of the leading artists in Mexico (and the world!). So why not unite these two references into one fantasy? To make Frida, you’ll need flowers for the headdress, a shawl and colorful clothes.
Make-up is one more idea, but if you find it too hard, just make some details that remind you of a skull, like the dimmest mouth. For the complete production, use black eye pencil (very thick), base and compact powder very light and shades of varied colors. Then just let your imagination run wild!
2-Death Addams
To make the beautiful Addams Morticia, from the Addams Family, you will only need a long black dress, lots of make-up and a wig (in case your hair isn’t dark, just split it).
Enjoy looking very sexy with red lipstick and long nails.
3- Cat Woman
How about turning your daughter into a mini cat woman? For that, wear a blouse and a black skirt. You can also make your own tutu, to look like the one in the photo.
To do this, cut a rubber band about 10cm shorter than the waist and stick one end to the other. Then cut the tulle to the length you want and attach it to the rubber band with glue.
For the ears, use a tiara and make ears with cards. Don’t forget the kitty make-up, which can be done with eye pencil. Even for adult women, the costume of a cat woman is very simple and always stands out at parties.
4- Luxury doll
Luxury Puppet is a 1961 film featuring Audrey Hepburn as a New York showgirl determined to marry a millionaire.
The style of the character has become very famous and is widely used to give a sexy and glamorous look.
To make it, you’ll need a black dress, high heels, pearl necklaces and black gloves. If you have accessories such as a princess’s crown you can also use it. Don’t forget to make up.
5- Pirate
To make a pirate costume for your child, you can use this inspiration. Make a hat out of felt or black cardboard. Wear a bandana and make an eye patch with elastic and a piece of fabric.
For the hook in hand, a large plastic cup (or other packaging you can put on your arm), coated with insulating tape and a hook made of aluminum foil.
The idea can also be used for women! Isn’t it simple?
6- Scarecrow
You know that scary scarecrow that always appears in horror movies? Because they can be a very simple inspiration for your Halloween costume! Wear a checkered shirt and combine it with a straw hat.
To give the hat a more ‘deaf’ look, you can pull some lint from the brim.
On the clothes, patchwork in jeans helps to give more personality to the composition. Finally, don’t forget makeup!
7- Zombie
Enjoy the zombie fashion and turn your old clothes into a costume! To do this, bet on make-up with lots of artificial blood and don’t forget the zombie walk!
8- Dead Couple
How about a couple’s fantasy? That duo seems to have been dead for a few decades! For that, bet on black clothes, accessories and a good make-up!
9- Rope doll
You think your daughter’s a doll? Then how about you turn her into a rope.
For this idea, just make the ‘rope’ with a roll of toilet paper and a piece of cardboard painted in gold.
To attach, use elastics that can be passed over the child’s shoulder. Isn’t that cute?
10- Lara Croft
To incarnate Lara Croft, lived in the cinemas by Angelina Jolie, you will only need toy guns as accessories and some rubber bands to hold them.
Coturno, shorts and a more glued blouse make the rest of the fantasy.
11- Minnie
Minnie is also a fantasy that usually pleases girls of any age.
To make it, all you need is a tiara, ears and a bow tie. You can assemble it with fabric and sequins (like in the photo) or with cardboard. Then, don’t forget the make-up.
Now, when you’re invited to a Halloween party, you’ll have no more excuses not to attend.
With simple parts and accessories, we can assemble beautiful costumes that will surprise in any event.
