It’s already time to look ahead at what’s set to leave Netflix next and below, we’ll cover everything we know that’s set to depart Netflix in the United States throughout July 2021. Missed any of last month’s removals? Check out our June 2021 removals list which included highlights such as Hannibal.
We’re referring to Twin Peaks and The Twilight Zone which have both been streaming on Netflix for years. Few quick housekeeping notes if you’re not familiar with removals on Netflix. Firstly, removals on Netflix happen because Netflix essentially rents a large number of its titles (referred to a licensed content).
We typically learn of removals 30 days before titles are due to depart. We also get an additional list from Netflix PR towards the end of the prior month. You may notice our list is both a little longer and different from most outlets.

What Is The Name Of Karyn Kusama’S Brilliantly Tense Social Thriller?
Everyone has that movie on Netflix that they always recommend to their friends and family when they ask for a pick – something that’s not too popular so they haven’t already seen it, something that can play to lots of audiences and, of course, something they think is really good. And I am now sadly losing my movie. VERY RUDELY just in time for my birthday next month, Netflix will lose The Invitation, Karyn Kusama’s brilliantly tense social thriller.
It’s suspenseful, smart … and now soon to be gone. Thanks Netflix! Unfortunately, The Invitation isn’t the only casualty in July on the streaming service.
Animated family-friendly favorites The Croods and The Princess and the Frog will hop elsewhere as well (in the case of the latter, almost certainly to Disney+). And that’s all along with several retro classics (Mad Max, A Clockwork Orange, Hook) and the excellent recent Oscar winner Spotlight claiming their independence from the Big Red Streaming Monolith during the month of Independence Day. It’s a lot to lose – so with no further ado, here’s the full list of movies and TV shows leaving Netflix in July.

What Is Netflix Preparing To Say Goodbye To For The Month Of July?
Netflix is preparing to say goodbye to a number of TV and movie titles for the month of July. While a number of films are set to disappear from the streamer’s library at the end of the month, the 2011 biographical drama The Iron Lady, which stars Meryl Streep as controversial British politician Margaret Thatcher, will leave within the first week of July. Spotlight — the Mark Ruffalo-, Michael Keaton- and Rachel McAdams-led biographical drama about The Boston Globe‘s investigative team’s coverage of the child sex abuse allegations against Roman Catholic priests — is also slated to be removed from Netflix’s library in July.
Other popular titles you should expect to say goodbye to are Mad Max, Zombieland, Eat Pray Love, A Clockwork Orange, Hook, My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Patriot and several installments in the Chucky franchise. Netflix is losing fewer TV titles in July, with the first three seasons of noir police procedural Hinterland, season 10 and season 15 of the long-running British architectural homebuilding series Grand Designs, and the first season of Thai young adult romance Love Sick: The Series leaving the streamer this month. Despite the content departing, Netflix has announced a number of new movies and TV shows that will be added over the course of the month.

How Many Movies Debut Every Month On Netflix?
Netflix loves to advertise its new offerings that turn up every month. Multiple movies debut every week; there’s somewhere on the order of 50+ TV shows that turn up every month. But to make room for the new, there’s out with the old.
So, what’s leaving Netflix in July 2021? Let’s run down the list. The good news, as always, is that what leaves Netflix is the stuff the service doesn’t own.
What exits every month are the older titles, the ones owned by other companies. The Princess and The Frog, for instance, is a Disney film that’s been waiting to exit Netflix and join the rest of the Princess Pantheon on Disney+; it will leave in July. The Croods is also taking off and will most likely head to Disney+ (if not Hulu) shortly after that.
But not everything is headed to a new home. Also, Love Sick: The Series, a Thai show popular with the K-drama crowd, is also leaving this month, with no known destination, so fans should make sure they’ve watched this adaptation of the Thai Boys Love novel before it’s gone.
What Movie Is Vanishing From Netflix On July 1?
TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — With the revolving-door slate of deals making it tough to keep track of what’s coming and going to Netflix each month, we’re here to help you catch some movies and shows you may have had on your list before they leave the service and become a lot harder to find. The Back to the Future trilogy, released in 1985, 1989 and 1990 — as well as the 1973 Bruce Lee classic Enter the Dragon — is vanishing July 1, and the 2009 Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog is leaving July 13.

To make sure you don’t miss something that’s about to expire, we’ve got a complete list of everything that’s leaving Netflix this month.

What Is The Name Of Karyn Kusama’S Brilliantly Tense Social Thriller?

What Is The Name Of Karyn Kusama’S Thriller?
Netflix giveth and Netflix taketh away. You’re probably never going to run out of shows and movies to watch on the streaming service, but if you’ve had something in your watchlist and you haven’t gotten to it yet, it might be your last call! To make sure you don’t miss something that’s about to expire, we’ve got a complete list of everything that’s leaving Netflix this month.
The first to leave this month is The Invitation, Karyn Kusama’s fascinating and heart-pounding thriller, which expires on July 7. It’s an absolute gem and definitely one to make time for before it’s gone. Next up is The Princess and the Frog, one of the last few Disney movies that was still on Netflix now that Disney titles are all migrating to Disney+ as their existing streaming licenses expire.
COLLIDER VIDEO OF THE DAY Other highlights include the Oscar-winning drama Spotlight, which expires on July 30, and a whole bunch of great movies expiring at the end of the month, including Mad Max, A Clockwork Orange, My Best Friend’s Wedding, and a handful of Chucky movies. Check out the full list of expiring titles below – and not to worry! Netflix might be losing some favorites this month, but there are a ton of new movies and shows arriving in July, which you can check out in the link below.
