When Did The Eleventh Season Of American Idol Begin?
It premiered on August 22, 2021, and will conclude in 2022, consisting of 24 episodes. This season will adapt material from issues #175-193 of the Comic Series. Additionally, the season also focuses on the group’s confrontation with the Reapers, a mysterious faction of hostile survivors that attacked and took Meridian, the former home of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and her new people, the Wardens.
As the group climbs up a subway car ladder to safety, Daryl and Dog become separated from the others. Maggie escapes from the walkers and reunites with the main group inside the subway car, revealing how Negan declined to help her. The group leaves the subway station only to be attacked by the Reapers who kill Roy.
Meanwhile, at Alexandria, Carol, Rosita, Magna, and Kelly retrieve some of the community’s escaped horses. Leah convinces Daryl to tell the group’s leader, Pope, something to appease him; Daryl obliges with minimal information. When they return to Meridian, Leah’s group learns that Pope killed Frost after further interrogation.
Negan forces Maggie to promise to stop plotting to kill him in exchange for his help against the Reapers, and she reluctantly agrees. Maggie’s group brings their horde to Meridian, where Leah grows disgusted with Pope’s callous disregard for the lives of the Reapers after one Reaper is killed by the disguised group among the horde. Daryl helps Maggie and Gabriel infiltrate Meridian and allow walkers inside and finally confesses to Leah his allegiance to Maggie.

This was a blow to the fandom as no one expected this abrupt end. The blow was softened when fans learned that the last season would consist of 24 episodes, technically making it almost two seasons’ worth of episodes.
In 2021 the first part of this season aired, and things got off to an excellent start to the final season. The part one finale left many open-ended stories that will resume in part two. The main focuses of this season have been neverending the tension between Maggie and Negan, the Reapers, Alexandria in dire straights and the Commonwealth.
Hopefully, the second part of this season will wrap up the Reaper story arc, as many feel this was an unnecessary storyline that has done nothing to further the final chapter. We will also see much more of the Commonwealth and be introduced to Governer Pamela Milton. The teaser trailer appears to show the Commonwealth descending on Alexandria.
Another exciting story has opened up with The Walking Dead World Beyond’s post-credit scene. The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 20, 2022.
How Many Episodes Will Be In The Walking Dead’S Final Season?
The Walking Dead’s eleventh and final season will be released in three parts, each consisting of eight episodes. In August 2021, viewers saw the premiere of the finale season, and in October, part one left fans with some significant cliffhangers. Now fans are curious when they will get some resolution to those storylines.
At the end of episode eight, Alexandria fought a torrential storm and a fire. Season 11 has also shown us a very dark side of Aaron, the return of Connie and Virgil, rogue Whisperers at the Hilltop, the introduction of the man who kills Rick Grimes in the comics, Sebastian Milton and Rosita being a badass as she kills a horde of walkers. When does The Walking Dead return to AMC in 2022?
The final episode of part two will air on April 10, which will also be the AMC+ release of Fear the Walking Dead’s season seven midseason premiere. The Commonwealth Governor, Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), will be introduced. From the looks of the teaser trailer, it appears the Commonwealth will make it to Alexandria, and some of the main group will find their way to the Commonwealth.
Something that is vital as the series only has 16 episodes remaining. What else do you hope to see in part two of season 11 of The Walking Dead?
Who Is The Showrunner For The Walking Dead?
Despite an overall decrease in The Walking Dead’s ratings, showrunner Angela Kang confirmed at New York Comic Con on October 5, 2019 that the show had been renewed for another season, throwing us back into the zombie apocalypse for the 11th year. AMC Related: The Walking Dead – the behind-the-scenes drama you probably don’t know about In BIG news, season 11 is the last in this series, but there’s plenty more to come from the franchise.
