Choose the type suitable for the foot
It is important to choose the right heel to achieve greater comfort while wearing high shoes. You can indeed opt for shoes with low heel of 5/6 cm or for squared and thicker heels instead of stiletto ones.
Alternatively, you can choose wedges or platform shoes which are more comfortable. Furthermore, if you have a foot with a particularly wide sole, it is not advisable to buy pointed shoes: better those with rounded toe heels.

Before putting them on to go out it is useful to wear them at home so as to enlarge them and fit them to the foot, avoiding the formation of painful blisters. Also, after taking them off, it is important to do it keep the shape filling them with crumpled paper or with specific tools. You can also try to make the shoe with a heel softer bending and twisting them gently.
To widen new shoes, there is another trick: using heat. Therefore wear thick socks e point the hair dryer (not too close) on the shoes with heels, so as to soften them and adapt them to the foot.

On the market there are numerous types of pads, in gel or other material, which allow you to wear shoes with heels with greater comfort. In fact, using the pads the foot will rest on one soft surface and it will not slip out of the shoe.

A key tip for not feeling pain when wearing heels all day is to avoid taking them off and putting them back on. In fact, the foot will relax when the shoe is removed and you will feel even more pain putting them back.
Scratch the sole
Scratching the sole of shoes can also be a useful remedy for greater comfort. In fact, by scratching the sole they will be less slippery, resulting in increased friction with the floor and therefore placing the foot on the ground more comfortably.
